Overview:

The IT Operations Intern assists with the ongoing development and configuration of Microsoft System Center Service Manager. The Intern will gain valuable experience and understanding of governance, risk, and compliance issues within the IT department.
Responsibilities:

Assists with application development and configuration projects related to Microsoft System Center Service Manager.
Assists in training users and IT staff to use enhanced Service Manager features.
Works with IT support groups and business process owners to develop and improve templates and workflows used for incident management, change management, and service request fulfillment.
Assists with integration of SharePoint and Service Manager portal features.
Demonstrates behavior consistent with the Integrated DNA Technologies Core Values.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Education/Licensure:
Pursing (or already obtained) an Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field required.
Microsoft Certification, CompTIA Certification preferred.
Professional Experience:
Proficiency in a variety of PC software programs with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
Prior experience working in an IT support or application development role preferred.
Knowledge of PowerShell or similar scripting language preferred.
Experience with .Net, C#, or Java desired preferred.
Developer experience with web and database technologies preferred.
Experience with Microsoft System Center suite (SCCM, SCOM, SCSM, Orchestrator) preferred.

Bending: bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist and/or bending leg; bending legs at knee to come to rest or kneel.
Pushing/Pulling: using upper extremities to press against something with steady force in order to thrust forward, downward or outward/using upper extremities to exert force in order to drag, haul or tug objects in a sustained motion.
Climbing: stairs, stools, ramps, ladders.
Visual Acuity:
Ability to read pertinent printed material and distinguish colors.
Ability to prepare and read written documentation; use of computer.
