Position objective: The Investigative Analyst I manages test security investigations and official score reviews and assists with other investigations and projects as assigned; provides test security advice as needed.

Typical work-related activities include:

Manage individual score review investigations and files, including reviewing data forensics for identifying aberrant scores, compiling evidence, opening and managing individual score review cases in accordance with procedures and service level agreements, and participating in investigator meetings to manage score review case load and processing
Exercise independent judgment in determining whether an individual score review should be opened, and other decisions related to the individual score review process
Independently analyze case facts, concerning trends, and unusual patterns in examinee score information and documentation for further research and analysis
Answer phone calls and communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with ACT staff, examinees, and others regarding the score review process and Test Security policies
As a member of a modular investigative team, collaboratively manage score review files and the various stages of the score review process, including preparing evidence for panel review and assisting in arranging retests
Assist with large scale test security investigations, including compiling and documenting evidence, identifying aberrant trends in data, contributing to investigation plans, and providing support to Test Security management
Identify possible process improvement opportunities, participate on project teams as assigned, lead and implement process improvements according to Test Security priorities and within timelines and budgets
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree in a related area required, preferably in business administration, statistics, or computer science
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired
EXPERIENCE:

Minimum (0-2) years of experience preferably in data analysis, business process analysis, investigations, computer science, mathematics, accounting, law or statistics
Experience collecting and analyzing data, identifying unusual patterns or trends, and deciding how to respond preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Ability to work effectively in a team environment, including collaboratively managing and organizing work
Strong attention to detail
Preference for foreign language fluency, specifically Mandarin and/or Korean language
Quantitative skills and familiarity with statistics
Abstract thinking and knowledge in application of principles to new fact patterns
Ability to determine logical solutions to complicated problems
Computer usage and software skills including spreadsheets, word processing, and database familiarity
Ability to manage multiple cases within various time frames; ability to set specific goals, and priorities to timely manage investigations
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding department and corporate information

Senior Manager, Test Security

COMPENSATION:
