Temporary Substitute Interpreter for Hispanic Outreach Clinic Skills Based Volunteer Opportunity

RED Ahead is a HACAP/United Way Early Literacy Program that serves low income families who participate in WIC. Families who participate in the RED Ahead Program receive children's books, activities that encourage pre-reading skills, and developmental screenings for each participating child. RED Ahead is looking for Spanish/English speaking interpreter for our Hispanic Outreach clinic which is held one day a month from approximately 9-2pm. The interpreter will work with RED Ahead staff to ensure Spanish speaking families understand program information, language development activities, and developmental screenings.

Interpreter should be able to read and speak Spanish fluently. Interpreter should also be able to work well with families and children.
